Welcome to Fifteen Minutes of Anonymity, an audio-visual platform hosted by Thomas Bey William Bailey, dedicated to exploring the autodidact margins of electronic music and 'micro-media'.

ABOUT
Fifteen minutes of anonymity
Initially formed in 2023 as a vehicle for the audio output of Thomas Bey William Bailey, FMOA is developing into a multi-media enterprise releasing literary work, videos, "lifestyle" product designs and music / sound art on "unconventional" formats. As our name implies, having fifteen minutes of anonymity, rather than fame, is the truly exceptional condition of the 21st century. The networked and surveilled world has occasioned an infantile need for sustained social approval, and this in turn has strengthened the desire to thoughtlessly conform and become ideologically "pure". To free ourselves from this static psycho-pathology, we attempt to seek out and define what is truly essential and life-affirming. We promote interaction, exchange, and communication that proceeds not from a need to develop our public / social "identities", but to expand the boundaries of expression and creativity themselves. Artists collaborating with FMOA to date have included Francisco López, Ralf Wehowsky / RLW, Yan Jun, Barbara Ellison, Ishigami Kazuya, Seth Nehil, Marc Behrens, Phillip Klingler / PBK, Susana López, Reverse Image, Taras Opasaniuk, Al Margolis, Anla Courtis, Alex Keller & Sean O'Neill, and yet more to come.
